Follow the La Mirada Open online

Quick Links

At La Mirada, we have The SpinTV’s seasoned production crew making sure this historical event will be seen and heard both inside and outside the disc golf community. Naturally the best way to follow the action is to come see it for yourself and all tournament action is free to attend for spectators. If, however, you’re unable to make the trip to La Mirada, there’s plenty of ways you can follow the event online.

Live Scoring

We will be providing live scoring from each tournament round. The scores of each group will be posted online after holes 4, 9, 14 and 18. In addition to traditional scoring, we’re also collecting Disc Golf Metrix data from all rounds. The Metrix stats will be accessible only to our registered website followers.

Please note: The scoring page will be updated with round 1 groups before the round starts.

Live Broadcasts

The SpinTV crew has teamed up with Terra Firma Media (DiscGolfPlanet.tv) to bring the online audience the best live broadcast the disc golf world has ever seen. There will be a total of 2 live shows, completely free of charge, from the last 2 rounds of the tournament. The live broadcasts will consist of studio segments as well as play-by-play coverage of the lead card’s play on the back nine of the La Mirada course.

The live shows will be broadcasted on The SpinTV’s YouTube channel and can also be viewed right here on discgolfworldtour.com.

Play-by-Play Videos

The SpinTV in cooperation with Jomez Productions will also be producing Play-by-Play videos from the 2nd and 3rd round of the event. The cameras will be following the lead card on both rounds. These Play-by-Play videos will be available to our website followers first, so we highly recommend everyone to create a user account. It’s completely free of charge and can be done right here. As a follower, you may even win yourself one of the tournament baskets after the event!

Other Videos

Since there will be no live stream from the first tournament round, The SpinTV will be producing a recap show of the first tournament day. The recap show will be published late at night (California time) on The SpinTV’s  YouTube channel. In addition to the videos listed above, the SpinTV crew will also be releasing miscellaneous featured content from the event as well as player interviews and more. You will also always find all public videos from the event right here. Make sure to register as a follower to access the exclusive video content through this link.

We will also have the California local video production team Central Coast Disc Golf filming some Play-by-Play action from each tournament round. The CCDG videos will be released approximately 7 days after the event on their own YouTube channel.

Social Media

We will have our staff on the field doing active social media posting throughout the tournament week. Our main social media channels are Facebook and Instagram, so make sure to give us a follow!

The Official La Mirada Open hashtags are #DGWT and #LaMiradaOpen. We encourage all players and followers to use these hashtags in their social media posts about the event.

News Articles

In addition to our own editorial staff, we are collaborating with ATDG’s Zach Parcell to produce round recap articles, press releases and more. We will be posting a lot of content throughout the week, so make sure to go check out the fresh articles!

Photo Galleries

At LaMirada, we’re collaborating with a number of photographers to make sure the kick off of Disc Golf World Tour gets documented properly. The Flight Record and Overstable studios will be feeding us with most of the photo content and you’ll always find the freshest galleries from the link below!
