Following last week’s fundraiser release for the Konopiště Open, we’re proud to introduce a new member of the Disc Golf World Tour fundraiser collection. One of the most anticipated releases of the year, the Discmania DDx will be released on Tuesday, April 19th as a Metal Flake C-line version. Similar to the Konopiště Open Swirly S-line DDx, this is a very limited release and each disc sold directly benefits the promotional efforts of the Disc Golf World Tour
As many of our followers noticed, the last week’s release of the Konopiště Open Swirly S-line DDx practically immediately sold out on both sides of the pond. In case you missed out, here’s your chance to get an early piece of this instant hit of a disc. The Metal Flake C-line DDx comes with an eye-catching Disc Golf World Tour stamp – these things will shine either on your wall or in your bag!
The Discmania DDx
Discmania took their Distance Driver (DD) and gave it a little something special that will help all levels of players get further down the fairway with more control. The DDx has a very fast flight with a high amount of glide with a mix of a little bit of turn and a steady, controllable finish.
The Metal Flake C-line Plastic
The Metal Flake C-line version of the DDx is the most overstable version of this disc we’ve seen so far. You can expect it to perform true to its flightnumbers (12,6,-1,2), especially if you have the arm to reach distances over 100 meters.
When it comes to durability, these things truly shine. You can gradually beat an S-line driver and get it to turn a bit more and fade a little less, but with the Metal Flake C-line DDx the plastic will stay out-of-the-box stable for a noticeably longer period of time. That been said, we believe that you’ll probably end up wanting to bag the DDx in both plastics, since they compliment each other perfectly.
Heads up (and we mean it!) – Sales start April 19th
The official release date for this fundraiser item will be Tuesday, April 19th. Every disc sold will directly benefit the Disc Golf World Tour.
